HOW IS IT DONE
The nipples are moved upwards and the excess breast tissue and skin is removed. The skin is then brought together below the nipple.

Approximately two to three hours.

COMMON COMPLICATIONS:
Early: Bruising and swelling and sometimes there is neuralgic pain. Healing may take longer than usual.
Late: Sometimes the scars are poor and need to be improved. It is not usual for the breasts to be perfectly symmetrical. Nipple sensation is often reduced.
Your surgeon must be properly qualified to do the operation and he will advise you what can and what cannot be achieved in your case. Do take that advice.
